Hosted by the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, the Bermuda Gold Cup is one of the most prestigious and revered match racing events. In 2026 the event will for the first time be contested in modern FarEast 28 class sportsboats, rather then the traditional International One Design yachts. The winner is presented with the King Edward VII Gold Cup – the oldest match racing trophy in the world presented for competition involving one-design yachts.
